Leon Announces 2023 Install of the Year Winners
At Leon, we’re celebrating our integrators and some of their most stunning work yet in our 2023 Install of the Year Contest. From beautiful turnkey solutions to awe-inspiring one-of-a-kind projects representing both residential and commercial spaces, these winners represent the best of the best.
With sleek frames, built-to-match soundbars, and immersive whole-home solutions, this year’s winners exemplify creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation in the AV industry through impressive design-oriented AV solutions from Leon.
These final projects were chosen from an incredible pool of 40 project submissions representing integrators across the country. Many were the result of direct collaboration with architects, interior designers, and end users who found Leon’s custom, design-oriented options were a perfect fit for their style visions.
Each winner will receive a $200 account credit toward their next Leon purchase, and a surprise Leon gift package!

Media Innovation's gorgeous Profile project redefines the viewing experience with a sophisticated fireplace featuring Leon’s Profile Edge Media Frame. Best Edge Frame for Sonos:
Working closely with interior designer Toni Sabatino, Premiere Systems Design blended AV and art together with this elegant accent wall. A custom-painted Leon Edge Media Frame works with the space’s quartz backdrop to provide next-level style and sound.

In this midcentury modern retro renovation, Solutions Audio/Video & Technology's FrameBar installation preserves the original aesthetic of the space while offering cutting-edge audiovisual integration. Leon’s FrameBar fits perfectly with both the Frame TV and surrounding timeless centerpieces (not to mention the adorable furry friend) in this artfully updated masterpiece.
Creative Audio Works
Leon’s FrameBar was the perfect fit for this minimalist modern residence’s clean, concrete look. Creative Audio Works expertly installed two of them above each of the built-in fireplaces—one in the primary suite and one in the family room—for an elegant final look with high-performance audio.

Barrett's Technology Solutions
Barrett's Technology Solutions elevates luxury living with a custom-matched Leon Horizon HzUltima Series, soundbar providing the ultimate viewing experience in a luxury condo along Chicago's Lake Shore Drive. The soundbar and TV have been carefully integrated into a custom motorized wall unit complete with ornate artwork displayed when the TV is not in use.
Best Media Decor:
This breathtaking project by Advanced ESI showcases the artful integration of Leon's Media Decor Illusion Art Screen, complementing the room's aesthetic with elegance and style. Masterfully matched to the modern fireplace below, this work of art can reveal or conceal the TV behind it at the press of a button.
Best Sonos Solution:
Mark Electronics' integration of a Sonos Arc soundbar with a custom-grille hardwood Leon Tonecase Bar epitomizes modern living in this elegant modern residence. Mounted expertly between the space’s unique fireplace and 75” Frame TV, this custom-fit installation showcases innovation and attention to detail, providing a contemporary home experience tailored to the client's personal style.

Intelligent Design and Sync Systems Inc
Intelligent Design's installation in this spacious modern estate epitomizes luxury living with this meticulously integrated Horizon Ultima Soundbar. Intelligent Design also integrated Leon’s Axis speakers for hidden listening spaces in the estate’s studio and garage—as well as sleek, ultra-durable Terra speakers in the space’s two pavilions and private car wash for a harmonious blend of design and technology at every turn.
Sync Systems Inc transforms an ambitious largescale luxury residence, into a cinematic marvel: boasting a 16-seat dedicated movie theater, game room, and more—all seamlessly integrated with Leon products. In the conference room, Leon’s Horizon TC-FIT-U allows the client to integrate a PTZ camera for an elevated home-conferencing experience. In the home theater, Samsung’s The Wall TV was paired with a custom Horizon 400 UX soundbar fitted to the TV’s 146” diagonal dimensions. This monumental project showcases unparalleled engineering and design collaboration. And, in the two guest bedrooms, Horizon 33UX fitted soundbars add both sound and style.

World Wide Stereo's showroom exhibits two cutting-edge solutions from Leon. With FrameBar and Tonecase, World Wide has curated two spaces to showcase their dedication to setting new standards in audiovisual display and innovation.
Best Video Conferencing Solution:
River Systems redefines the corporate meeting experience at this new, Fortune 100 corporate HQ in Hudson Yards, NYC. By deploying VC systems in every meeting room and leveraging Tonecase Mounts and Edge Frames to create an elevated, unified look, River Systems creates an extraordinary environment where technology seamlessly integrates with architectural elegance.
