Case Study: Supporting Collaboration and Community at Peloton's Manhattan Headquarters

The Challenge:

Peloton’s innovative approach of bringing people together through technology and wellness has given us a new way to think about community building in the modern age. So when it comes to the company’s Manhattan headquarters, it’s no surprise that this inviting, functional space puts its people first with a layout that encourages flexible and creative opportunities for collaboration.

It was important to the Peloton team that the space include the latest in audiovisual technology while continuing to maintain the brand’s clean aesthetic and people-centered ethos. Integrator Presentation Products turned to Leon for high-performance, custom-fit audio and framing solutions that complement and enhance the space’s welcoming, thoughtful design across its array of collaborative and communal spaces.

The Solution:

Leon's simple, custom-fit solutions were the perfect fit for Peloton’s style and performance needs. Custom-width Horizon soundbars and modern hardwood Edge Media Frames provide elegant ways to match the aesthetic and audio needs of the building’s bright, multi-functional meeting spaces.

In the area’s largest room, an immersive boardroom with a diverse range of layouts and seating options, communication was key.

“Peloton’s boardroom required meticulous coordination with the millwork and other architectural features to achieve the intimate feel they wanted for the room, while still providing an excellent conferencing experience,” said Presentation Products’ Zach Baxter. “The boardroom display solution needed to incorporate camera and audio elements into a cohesive and beautiful architectural solution. Naturally, we turned to Leon for this.”

- Zach Baxter, Presentation Products.

PPI selected Leon’s ultra-wide Horizon Interactive soundbar to support seamless communication during both remote and hybrid meetings. Featuring a custom cutout for a PTZ Aver Cam 450, the soundbar was built to the exact dimensions of the room’s Planar EPX100 display for unimpeded communication and a simple, elevated look.

In open areas like the on-site cafeteria and gym, Axis In-Ceiling speakers provide discreet, dimensional sound. Stepping outside, visitors and employees alike can relax in a lush rooftop courtyard, illuminated with Leon’s Terra LuminSound 50 outdoor speakers, adding to the cohesive, curated appeal of the experience.

The Outcome:

By leveraging Leon's expertise in sound and design, Peloton and Presentation Products successfully outfitted the entire space with high-performance audio and framing solutions while maintaining its modern ambiance and inviting atmosphere. These advanced, design-oriented solutions enhance the functionality of each room while elevating the look and feel of the overall environment: creating an inspiring space for team collaboration and innovation.
